  We start the month with a special guest.  Rev. Joel David joins us this 
 Sunday.   Joel is the VP of International Missions with the North Americ
 an Baptist Conference. \nAbout Joel David: \nPrior to taking his this ro
 le in 2025\, he has served in many ministry roles\, including church plant
 er\, global mission leader\, and theological educator\; for more than fift
 een years\, he has been the lead pastor of Asian Christian Church\, an NAB
  congregation in Edmonton\, Alberta\, where he currently resides with his 
 wife\, Asha\, and their two daughters. He holds a masters of Theology degr
 ee from the University of Wales and is currently undergoing doctoral studi
 es.\nOriginally from India\, Joel brings a wealth of experience in church 
 leadership\, theological education\, and global missions to the role of VP
  of International Missions. As an affiliate faculty member at Taylor Semin
 ary (now part of Kairos University)\, he taught New Testament studies and 
 guided students in theological research and academic writing. For several 
 years\, he has served on the Leadership Council of the Alberta Baptist Ass
 ociation.\nHis diverse background also includes founding a Bible college/s
 eminary in India\, pioneering computer training programs for the disabled\
 , introducing Natural Church Development in India and Ukraine\, serving as
  area coordinator for World Vision India\, and leading regional mission mo
 vements. He also serves as the International Coordinator of the Lausanne S
 ikhism Working Group.
