Featuring Dr. Scott Stripling

As the Director of Excavations for the Associates for Biblical Research at ancient Shiloh, Dr. Stripling’s passion is connecting the archeology of the Holy Land with the Biblical Text.

Join us Sunday April 7th, as he leads us on a special three-part series on archeology and the Bible.

- 9:30: Then & There, Here & Now – Illuminating the Biblical Text

Joining our worship service, Scott looks at some of the events and sayings of Jesus, and how archeology brings further clarity to text and application to our life.

- 11:15: Go Now to Shiloh: Have We Found God’s House?

Before the Temple, God’s house was the Tabernacle which for over 300 years stood in Shiloh.  This is where the Ark of the Covenant resided and the people of Israel gathered to worship during the time of the Judges. The excavation at Shiloh is revealing evidence of the tabernacle and its sacrificial system.

- 12:45: Archeology and the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus

What can archeology tell us about the most significant event in history – the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

A lunch break will be held from 12:15-12:45. You may bring your own lunch, but drinks and light refreshments will be available. We plan to be done by 2:00
