MBC Community Presence provides opportunities to love our community
in the name of Jesus through acts of kindness and service that create relational frameworks for evangelism and discipleship.

We need your:

- Prayers:  Obviously prayer is our number one item!  Pray not only for the team that plans and volunteers for these effort, but most importantly, pray for those that we come in contact with (sometimes indirectly), that the the Holy Spirit will work in their heart and bring them into relationship with Jesus.

- Volunteers:  Our events only work with volunteers.  Pray that people will joyously give of their time and energy to plan and help on our events.  Pray that God will give them open hearts and eyes to see the opprotunities that the Spirit puts before them.

- Donations:  Whether it is big or small, our events offer Touch Points.  Touch Points can be non-perishable snacks or grocery items, or essentials like sanitizer or household items, and even small toys for children.  Check with our team if you want to know more.

This is just a brief description of what to pray for, what we do, and what we need - if you want to know more, send us a note on the connect link, or stop by the Welcome Booth on Sunday.

Background
The MBC Community Presence Ministry Area was launched in 2014 by Nathan Zug. In 2021, Nathan transitioned from Full Time CP Pastor to Part Time CP Pastor, allowing him to focus on the growth of JMh, a Non-Profit Organization linked to and based at MBC.

In 2025, MBC brought on Dustin Flaming to assist in this as a CP Intern.  With Nathan assuming a full time role in JMh in 2026, Dustin now leads the area.  Even though Nathan is full time JMh, we remain closely linked (just across the parking lot) and Nathan, Tino, and all the JMh people are part of the MBC community.

Community Pantry

Serving our Community in Jesus' Name

We have both drive up and walk up pantry events.  Typically we serve about 100 families.  On 4/2, our walk up pantry served 78 families with food and household items.  See Dustin for more information on how you can get involved or contribute.
