9/12/2026 Creeping Along

It is always difficult to write an update on weeks like this because many things seem to only creep along, or even get delayed.  However, we continue to make progress in big and small ways.
The 1-minute read
- Updated plans for the new serwer and electrical layouts finally made their way to a city reviewer.  We anticipate comments (hopefully approval) by the end of the week (9/18).  Approval will allow us to resume inspections on these elements.
- Hall interior work continues.  Hall finishes start this week - including final paint, flooring, and trim work.
- Kitchen work continues.  While we cannot close up the ceiling panels until after inspection, we can continue with other items, like the epoxy flooring, and walls.
- Electrical upgrade was delayed again.  The inspector requested a soils report for the area under the pad before we can start pouring the pad's concrete.  The soils testing was completed Friday (9/11), and we should have the report on Monday.
- Sanctuary Addition work still awaiting final building permit.  Our Architect met again with the city regarding the latest comments, so we continue the back and forth discussion on these plans.
