Welcome to Board Game Night!

Whether you are looking to burn your brain on a heavy strategy eurogame, or just want to laugh over a fast-paced card game, there is a seat for you here.

This is an open-play event: bring your own games, or check one out from our provided game library!

To make sure everyone has a great time and gets to play the style of game they actually want, our group follows one simple guideline: It's okay to split up and play.

If you are new to the group, here is exactly how our nights work so you can jump right in:

  • Don't wait for "everyone" to arrive: You do not need to wait for the whole room to gather. If you have 3 to 5 people ready to go, grab a table and start playing immediately! Latecomers will form the next group when they arrive.

  • Play what you love: Its rare to play massive 10-person games. Instead, break into smaller pods. If two people want to play a heavy, 3-hour strategy game and four people want to play casual party games, the group should feel welcome to split into two tables so everyone is happy. Never feel obligated to join a game you aren't interested in!

  • Look for the "Players Wanted" signs: We use table signs to help you find a game. If you see a "Players Wanted" sign on a table, pull up a chair and introduce yourself!

  • Start your own table: Want to play a specific game? Grab it, set up the board, put up a "Players Wanted" sign, and see if the next person who walks through the door to join you. If they don't thats okay too! Keep searching!

  • Pre-plan your games if desired: If you are bringing a specific game—especially a longer, heavier strategy game—feel free to let people know before the event! (e.g., "I'm bringing Scythe and looking for 3 players to start right at 6:30!"). This is the best way to guarantee your game gets to the table.

Bring your favorite games, snacks or drinks, and don't be shy about starting a table. We can't wait to play with you!
