Saturday 11/29, 6:30 PM Digging into the Bible and Archaelogy
Part 1: Understanding Archaeology through the lens of Scripture: Join us as we examine archaeological basics and Biblical events, starting with the Biblical text and how people of faith can harmonize them.
Part 2: Shiloh, Where God Dwelled: This is where the people of Israel gathered to worship for 300 years. Dr. Stripling, ABR Director of Excavations at ancient Shiloh, will be sharing about the on-going archaeological dig and its discoveries at the site.
Sunday 11/30, 9:30 AM
A Tale of Two Prayers: In the Magnificat, the prayer of Mary, we hear many echoes of the prayer of Hannah. Both these women of faith experience miraculous births. Together they tell of God’s continuous plan for our salvation, culminating in the birth of Jesus.

The Christmas Story, what can we believe? The Archaeology of Christmas: Dr. Stripling discusses the myths, traditions, and facts about Christmas, and how archaelogy sheds light on the birth of Jesus
