ENCOUNTERS WITH TRUTH 2026

We are excited to continue this series in 2026!  While we are finalizing other details, we are happy to announce the following:

August 22-23: Dr. Titus Kennedy.  Dr. Kennedy is a field archaelogist directing projects in the Bible lands while researching, wrting, and teaching in the field of biblical archaeology.  In addition to being an adjunct professor at Biola University and research fellow at Discovery Institute, he has been a consultant, writer, and guide for history and archaeology documentaries and curricula.  He is the author of several books, including "Excavating the Evidence for Jesus" and "Unearthing the Bible."  His new book "Archeaology and the People of the Bible" is due out in early 2026.

September 27: Dr. Sean McDowell.  Dr. McDowell returns to Magnolia.  He is a professor of Apologetics at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. He has earned two Master's degrees in philosophy and theology and his Ph.D. in Apologetics and Worldview Studies. He is the author, editor, or co-author of more than 20 books including More Than A Carpenter, Chasing Love, End the Stalemate, and The Fate of the Apostles. He is the co-host of the Think Biblically podcast–one of the most popular podcasts on the intersection of faith and culture. Sean has one of the top apologetics YouTube channels. He is an internationally renowned speaker. And he is on the teaching team at his home church in southern California.
