2. What strikes you about the man’s statement to Jesus? Based on his response, how do you think Jesus understood it?
3. Look at Colossians 3:5. How is covetousness defined here? What is the implication?
4. Read verses 16-20 of Luke 12. What are the repeated words? What do the repeated words tell you about the man’s attitude toward his wealth?
5. What other answers could the man have come up with to the question, “What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?”
6. How could this man have been rich toward God?
