Please pray for our meeting with the Anaheim Building Department on Monday regarding our Hall/Kitchen and Sanctuary/Children’s area plans.

One minute read:

Regarding the Fellowship Hall, although we continue to make some progress, significant items are stalled – most obviously we have a large hole outside the kitchen and the main electrical to the hall is not yet on.  The bottom line is that we are held up as we go through some new reviews with the city.   We received approval via email two weeks ago, however, we have yet to receive formal city approval.

For the Sanctuary plans we received some late comments.  These comments are new and significant as they move beyond the addition and require upgrades to the basic sanctuary building.

I will share more details below if you have time to read them, but this past week we escalated these issues to management in the Building Department. Although we had one good call and email exchange, as of the end of the week, we still have no resolution.

However, on Monday, we will have a meeting with senior Building Department officials regarding these issues we have on our projects.  So please pray for this meeting.  We have had various individual meetings and calls with both of these officials before, and each time the meetings appeared to go in our favor; however, they have not yet resulted in either of our paperwork being released – this time is different as we all will be on the same call.  Pray that we find favor with them, answer any questions they may have, and gain release of our various permits.
