The bottom line is that the Fellowship Hall, Kitchen, and Fischer upstairs west Bathrooms remodeling will begin - February 19th.  We apologize for the late notice - but circumstances seemed to fall in place at the last minute.
 
What this means:
The Hall, Kitchen, and Fischer upper west Bathrooms will not be useable starting 2/19.  Construction time is about 12-14 weeks for the kitchen, the hall and bathrooms will be done a little sooner.
 
What is happening:
Thursday -2/19 - Soft demolition begins.  This involves removal of non-hazardous items, capping plumbing, setting up temporary electrical, etc.
Monday - 2/23: Remediation begins.  This involves removing the various hazardous items, they store it onsite until they "encapsulate it" (wrap it up in plastic really good).  This takes about a week to 10 days to get not only the items removed, packaged, but also final testing to make sure everything is gone.
 
After that, we will be ready to start "real" construction, but more on that later.
