Praise: This month will be a month of emphasizing Magnolia as a place of Praise.  As we break ground on these facility efforts, we naturally start by praising God for the physical things, the land and facilities He has provided our church.  In addition, we praise God for the resources he has provided to start the update of these facilities. 

But at the same time, we know that God’s foremost work is not the physical things he has done for us, but rather His work in bringing us into relationship with Him.  So, ultimately the focus of our praise is God Himself. 

As we focus on praise, take time each day to praise God for His work in our lives, both the physical, but most importantly, the spiritual.  HE is the one that puts newness into our lives.

Psalm 40

 3 He put a new song in my mouth,
    a song of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear,
    and put their trust in the Lord.
