The month of May we are emphsizing

MBC is A place of FAMILY!

Y2 Family.  Is that a typo?   What is “Y2 Family”?  Well, it represents how each of us fits in here at Magnolia.  No matter if you say “You’re” or “Your” – either way, it works!

You’re  family.  First and foremost, YOU ARE family.  We want you to know you are a part of God’s family.  Jesus himself calls us brothers and sisters.  We are His family.  If you have not yet taken that step into His family, we would love to tell you how.   If you have stepped into the family but are still trying to find where you fit, take this month to reach out and join a small group, a community presence team, or one of our other ministries – something new and different. Not only will you find things to do, but you will also find family.

Your family.  It is also a month to celebrate YOUR family.  Of course we associate May with Moms.  So, the month is partly dedicated to our natural family — those we grew up with.  Although those relationships are sometimes complex, God used them to shape us into who we are today.

However, your other family is your spiritual family – and that includes everyone here at MBC.  So, this month we celebrate with your MBC family with our family-friendly celebrations.  These include helping our children and youth get to camp (Youth Auction), celebrating our family of young actors (Acting Up Performance and Cast Party), and of course honoring our Moms.  Of course, every Sunday you should stick around the courtyard for a few snacks but also to meet and encourage YOUR family.
